Trailer dan Tanggal Rilis Resident Evil Requiem
Resident Evil Requiem atau Resident Evil 9 akhirnya resmi diumumkan oleh Capcom pagi ini lewat acara Summer Game Fest dengan menghadirkan sebuah trailer. Dalam trailernya, kita dikenalkan dengan wajah baru bernama Grace Ashcroft, seorang agen FBI dan anaknya Alyssa Ashcroft yang dulu muncul di Resident Evil: Outbreak.
Grace dapat tugas untuk menyelidiki TKP di sebuah hotel tempat ibunya dibunuh. Seperti biasa, ada penyakit misterius yang bikin orang meninggal satu per satu dan makhluk-makhluk aneh pun ikut bermunculan.
Yang membuat hype para penggemar tinggi adalah cikal bakal dibawanya kita kembali ke reruntuhan Raccoon City, kota pertama yang menjadi awal mula insiden outbreak bioweapon Umbrella, lengkap dengan tampilan singkat kantor polisi yang ikonik, RPD.
Selain itu, RE Requiem akan dicoba langsung di acara pembuka Gamescom, yaitu Opening Night Live, yang bakal digelar sekitar Agustus mendatang. Kemungkinan besar, kita bakal dapat first look yang lebih dalam mengenai gameplay Resident Evil 9 ini di sana.
Di akhir trailer, Resident Evil 9 ini direncanakan akan rilis pada 27 Februari 2026 untuk platform PC, PlayStation 5, dan Xbox Series X.
